ABOUT THE ARTIST
There is a feeling that washes over you when you hear a certain special song, take in a breath full of fresh ocean air, or see the beauty of the cosmos up close. That very feeling is what connects the many subjects VanDillen explores in her work. Whether it is a portrait of a musician, an ocean view, or an inspiring cosmic image, everything she creates holds special meaning because of this very feeling.
Tanya VanDillen was born and raised in Satellite Beach, FL and graduated from Chapman University in Orange, CA with a BFA in Studio Art. Currently, VanDillen resides in Kansas City, MO. Her recent work focuses primarily on painting, and occasionally sculpture.
